Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the research administration processes of Georgia State University, an R1 University located in Atlanta, Georgia. The data were collected from the university’s data warehouses and the sample restricted to just the College of Education and Human Development. The results of the analysis reveal themes around data integrity and workflow efficiency. Future studies should investigate to see if these findings are generalizable to other colleges within the University. A comprehensive understanding of the GSU’s research administration processes should then be used to inform the university’s 10-year Strategic Plan.
